Last year’s CBS broadcast of the GRAMMY’s pulled in the highest ratings since 1984 when over 39 million viewers tuned-in. With hip-hop icon LL Cool J hosting the star-filled event from the Staples Center in L.A., you can expect another incredible show again this year on February 10. Now, JBL is promoting this innovative partnership through the “JBL GRAMMY Spotlight with Carson Daly”, a collaboration with Carson Daly, AMP Radio Los Angeles and CBS Altitude that provides exclusive interviews with listener’s favorite GRAMMY-winning (or nominated) artists like Alicia Keys and Maroon 5. The campaign integrates both traditional and new media to connect with consumers in unprecedented ways.
To participate in the Promotion, listeners visit JBL.com/GRAMMY to register for a chance to bring a friend on a unique GRAMMY experience created by Daly. Winners will wine and dine at one of Daly’s favorite restaurants, receive a three night stay at the W Hollywood, and get to attend an AMP Radio Pre-Party or the 2013 GRAMMY Awards rehearsal.
GRAMMY fans can also enter to be JBL’s official 2013 GRAMMY Awards blogger by “liking” JBL’s Facebook page through a customized app, which was coordinated and designed by CBS Altitude. The winner and a friend will also receive a free flight to Los Angeles, a VIP dinner for 2, and a stay at the W Hollywood.
