In February, Harley Davidson launched a new advertising campaign taglined “No Cages,” to promote its factory customization program where buyers are empowered to design their own motorcycles.
I especially like Harley’s new print ads that have the related theme, Cage Free Humans.
As a long time motorcycle enthusiast — I ride a 2002 Custom Dyna Wide Glide — I totally understand how nothing quite gives you the excitement and thrill of cruising down the highway on your bike on a beautiful summer day.
Interestingly, the concept for the ad was largely based on input from Harley customers, a dedicated group if ever there was one.
You can read more about the campaign in an interview with Harley’s Chief Marketing Officer in this article in Ad Age.
While we certainly don’t ride steel horses every day here at Altitude, we do aspire to the thrill and excitement that you get when pursuing your dreams — whether that be riding a Harley or just gardening on a sunny afternoon.
