CBS Gives Small Business Boost with New Site

small business pulse

This week, CBS Local launched Small Business Pulse, a new site that we’re incredibly proud to welcome to the CBS Family.

Part of CBS Local, Small Business Pulse will be the go-to resource for anybody looking to improve their small business. Pulse will pull the best, most relevant, content from a vast network that includes contributions from Techrepublic and ZDnet and content CBS News, CBS Radio and Simon and Schuster. In addition, Pulse will create it’s own original content which will include tips, tricks and advice from small-business owners.

With so much small business expertise circulating amongst around CBS media properties, it only made sense to create one single, robust destination.

“CBS Small Business Pulse brings together the best content from across many CBS divisions plus new, original editorial on the topics that matter most to small business owners,” said Ezra Kucharz, President of CBS Local Digital Media. “CBS Small Business Pulse will provide the insights and knowledge small business owners need to immediately solve the challenges they face by delivering daily, easily digestible information across myriad topics that can easily be put into action.”

With so many small businesses often unaware of the great resources that can them run their business or even improve their bottom line, Pulse is an unprecedented opportunity for brands to connect with business owners that could benefit from their services.

Already signed on are First Data Corporation (a technology solutions company for small business), Bank of America Merchant Services, Office Depot, and its parent OfficeMax.

We’ve felt for so long that we needed to do more for small businesses. This is the first time that we’ve stepped back and said let’s put all the best into one.

Be sure to check out CBS Small Business Pulse on the web and to follow them on Facebook.
