Movie Magic on the New York Street
Lights, camera, action!
This weekend CBS and MasterCard put together another amazing event in our Priceless Table series with a gourmet meal at Paramount Studios in Los Angeles. Cardholders were treated to an experience straight from the silver screen as they dined in the middle of a New York City streetscape on set.
Guests were welcomed at the Paramount Pictures Studios entrance with a glass of champagne and a studio tour of some of the most iconic sets and props of recent cinema. (Take a seat on Forrest Gump’s park bench, why not?) They were transported and guided by Paramount pages across the lot, and dropped off at the red carpet in the New York City street.
The red carpet brought them to a reception area with an open bar, and the entrance to the dining area. Before entering the dining area cardholders were invited to #StandUp4 friends and family in the fight against cancer in front of a branded step and repeat.
Guests were then welcomed by Chef Susan Feniger, who guided diners through an exotic culinary experience, describing each course as it was served and movie scores played in the background. The night was punctuated by movie set tidbits, amazing scenery, and a hint of Hollywood magic, all for the great cause of Stand Up to Cancer.
